well its that time of year again for peace and goodwill to all!i,m as usual running around like a headless chicken ,wondering who to get what.its been difficult as ive been hospital visiting as my sis in law had a mini stroke ,due to having an angiogram !.so while she,s been "lording it" in her ward ,ive been taking her orders to finish her shopping for her and god knows how she,s gonna get nice things for me lol.its quite funny watching her try and walk straight as her co ordination was all that got attacked and god knows when she will be allowed to escape ,but when she does i may have her staying here "oh joy" .no seriously she,s fine and quite happy and will love having a slave or three .anyway if i dont get chance to pop in here ,i,ll wish you all a very happy christmas and lets see what 2010 brings !.love to all xxx:hugs x 1000 xxx ttfn

just came back from a weeks jaunt in north devon. its so much more rugged than the south ! rain stopped play most of the week but we did venture out as you can see in my latest offerings (deviations) ...a must for anyone who is going near clovelly is hartland quay as the geology and sea is breathtakingly beautiful. hartland point is good for shipwrecks and the coastal walks can be tricky but wonderful . funny story of the holiday was monday evening when alec decided to moth trap at bucks mill ....we got all the way there when he realised his mercury vapuor bulbs were back at the cottage ....so zoom off i drive for the round trip to get said bulbs only to find that when i got back the tide was right up and so he couldnt get anywhere near his moth site (unless he swam with a moth trap and generator)! needless to say we went straight back to the cottage in a foul mood ( well he was in a mood but i wanted to laugh)....thursday was a lower "high" tide so we had success and 3 scarce blacknecks are now residing in our house(on setting boards) .we came home friday and total mileage for the week was nearly 800 miles (most of that was through all the narrow windy roads ) ....nice to be home though in my own bed lol ....well thats all folks ttfn lots of

lu probably wont like me doing this but i have to tell all that her results are in and woot a 2 2 .and as expected her creative writing got the best scores but it was 3 points off a 2 1 .she seems happy and obviously im proud and happy ! so now onwards and upwards !

oh ive had such a nice couple of weeks....got an email from my bro (who only contacts wen he wants something!)....apparently he got evicted on monday for not keeping up with his mortgage repayments...and says he,ll end up roughing it ,but he works and so does his floozie ...goddammit !so now im left wondering where he is and how he is !. second news is my sis has just told me her husband has been playing away ,but funnily enough i always knew he would !.she,s actually happier now she,s told me but being the "big sis" im concerned . oh i have such a disfunctional family no wonder i have high blood pressure ......... the good news is lu has now completed her 3 year uni course and if i see anything remotley to do with feminism again i will scream (disertation was a comparison between pride and pregudice and bridget jones in a feminist point of view ) and i was 1 of her trusted proof readers .......so now we wait for results !
